Dr Eddy Li’s Belt and Road Photography Exhibition

Aside from being a successful businessman, Dr. Eddy Li is also a renowned photographer. Ever since the Belt and Road Initiative was proposed, Dr. Li has been traveling to Mainland China, Asia, Europe and Africa, using art to record the culture, lifestyle, landmarks and markets of these countries. Through his photographs, we are able to embark on a journey of exploration, experiencing local life, admiring undisturbed nature, and witnessing the modernization of the cities.

2022 marks the 25th anniversary of the establishment of HKSAR. Hong Kong, in future, will further integrate into the development of China, including the Belt and Road Initiative, and develop cultural and economic communications with economies along the Belt and Road. This exhibition is not only presented to commemorate the anniversary of Hong Kong’s handover, but also offers a glimpse of Hong Kong’s future opportunities for the public.

The Power of diversity

HKUST is known for its education and research in science, technology and business management. These areas of knowledge are just one side of the story – art and culture are also emerging skillsets among our students. Witness four alumni artists showcasing their abilities in this very special exhibition that shows the power of passion, following your dreams, and being the best you can be. Together We Empower – these four artists show that the collective is more important than the individual, and the sum is greater than its parts.
