Opening Ceremony of the Shaw Auditorium and Special Performance by the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra
As the new landmark of our university, the multi-purpose Shaw Auditorium will add energy to our vibrant campus and enrich students’ learning beyond science and technology. It will not only be our future home of arts and culture, but also a place connecting the university and neighboring communities through creative exploration.
To mark this important milestone of HKUST, the Opening Ceremony of the Shaw Auditorium, followed by a Special Performance by the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra (HKPhil), will be held on campus on November 17, 2021 (Wednesday).
Please register by November 10 (Wednesday) if you wish to attend the event. Due to limited quota, seats will be offered on a first-come-first-served basis to those who have completed the registration procedure. Event confirmation will be sent to the registered email address of the successful registrants.
Those who are unable to join us in-person are most welcome to participate virtually through the live-streaming. Please stay tuned: https://shaw-auditorium.hkust.edu.hk/opening-live.
